Asian Festival Of Speed 2011
AFOS 2011 season kicked off on 27th May at Sepang International Circuit. The 2011 season will comprise of five FIA-sanctioned Series; Asian Touring Car Series, GT Asia Series, JK Racing Asia Series & Porsche Carrera Cup Asia.
Defending champion Dilantha Malagamuwa took the victory for Sri Lanka in Race 1 while Frank Yu of Craft Eurasia Racing took the win in Race 2 for the GTA series. For the Asian Touring Car Series, Hong Kong driver Eric Kwong claimed the Round 3 win while Team IMSP driver, Hideharu Kuroki claimed the win in Round 4. In the JK Racing Asia Series, Lucas Auer of EuroInternational was in a class of his own winning all 4 races.
